Czech bread, smoked meat or sweet mini buns. What else is on the menu at the Czech House?
Tender meat in potato pancake, baguettes, but also Czech classics like meatloaf in a bun or sausages. This is just a narrow selection of delicacies that fans can look forward to at the Czech House in Paris. There will also be Czech bread from baker Charles, whether with spread or with pork belly, which the team has been bringing with them from Czechia since the Pyeongchang Olympics. Digital ordering kiosks, drink tokens and QR code payment will speed up the dispensing of food and drinks.
"We focused on dishes that are grab-and-go," described the chosen menu chef Michal Taufman. Prices will range from eight to fourteen euros. In all areas it will be possible to pay only by credit card thanks to the cashless VISA system, which is a partner of the Czech House. Visitors will order their food at a digital kiosk, pay with a QR code and wait for the order number to be called up. A similar system is in place for alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, which require the purchase of drink tokens in advance. Czech delicacies will be complemented by beers from 16 microbreweries, which come from 12 Czech regions and change every 4 days. There are 8 different beers on tap to choose from each day.
